On the 15th anniversary of his passing, we honor the man whose song brought sunshine to the world.Β
Bobby Hebb's hit song "Sunny," a timeless classic released in 1966 that reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of the most covered songs in history. With hundreds of versions released (BMI lists "Sunny" No. 25 in its "Top 100 songs of the century. The legendary song has been recorded by over 300 artists, including Steven Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, Cher and Billie Eilish, and remains a staple in the American Songbook, earning multiple BMI awards for performances.Β
Inspired by the timeless message of "Sunny" written by Bobby Hebb to uplift the nation during the turblulent 1960's events in the US, Beatta J Collection carries that same spirit through fashion - spreading light, unity, acceptance, and compassion in a world that once again needs sunshine.
